What is Greenscore?
Greenscore is a podcast about sustainability. How can we change what we use, or how we use it, to play our part in the fight against climate change? There can be so much information and noise within the sustainability space, so we aim to provide clear and simple steps that can empower us all to make better choices and understand the science behind them.
To do this, we focus on one common household object each episode. We discuss how the item is made and disposed of, its environmental impact, and the science behind “greener” alternatives. We finish with our two greenscores: a fun color-based scale to rank how easy it is for us as consumers to make a more sustainable choice, and what the wider global impact of that choice might be. Some of our listeners’ favorites so far include plastic food packaging, coffee cups, jeans, and wrapping paper.
